As the old adage goes: one’s trash is another’s treasure.

 

Collective Treasures is a community-run variety market held quarterly in Victoria Park, where traders sell an eclectic mix of vintage wares, handmade and other unique and unusual items.

 

Often held as a laneway event, Collective Treasures has also teamed with the national Garage Sale Trail Day and hosted two big community garage sales. In 2014, we occupied the former Good Samaritan store in Victoria Park and in 2015 we put together an epic car boot sale in the underground carpark of the Park Centre shopping centre.

 

The 2015 event was a partnership with Garage Sale Trail, the Town of Victoria Park, Hawaiian Group at the Park Centre and the Vic Park Transition Network.

Our latest events have occurred in conjunction with the Sunday markets at John Macmillan Park.
